The I Love North Shields Vintage Market returns to The Loading Bay at Salt Market Social on Sunday 25 October 2026, bringing vintage traders, independent sellers, food, music and plenty of one-of-a-kind finds back to North Shields Fish Quay.
Following the wonderful response to our first two markets – with nearly 1,000 people joining us for our Summer Edition – this will be our third I Love North Shields Vintage Market and our first Autumn Edition.
Entry is free, with optional Pay As You Feel tickets available through Ticket Tailor. Booking in advance helps us understand how many people to expect and means we can send you important event updates.

Our Autumn Edition will bring together a carefully curated mix of vintage traders, independent sellers and food vendors from across the North East.

More than a vintage fair
The I Love North Shields Vintage Market is about more than shopping.
Alongside the market, visitors can enjoy live music, creative demonstrations, food and drink throughout the day. When the traders finish at 4pm, the music, DJs and our Vintage Social will continue until 7pm.
Come for a treasure hunt, browse with a coffee, meet the people behind the stalls and stay a little longer for food, music and conversation.
It is a relaxed autumn day out for friends, families, vintage lovers and anyone looking for free things to do on the North East coast.
A vintage market on North Shields Fish Quay
Salt Market Social sits on North Shields Fish Quay, close to the River Tyne, local restaurants, cafés, bars and the working harbour.
That makes the Vintage Market easy to turn into a full day out. Browse the stalls, enjoy lunch or a drink, explore the Fish Quay and take a walk along the riverside or towards Tynemouth.
Visitors are welcome from North Shields and across the wider North East, including Newcastle, Gateshead, Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, Cullercoats, South Shields, Sunderland and beyond.
