I Love North Shields is a trusted community platform made by and for the community, delivering real impact across North Shields and the coast.
We’re a hyperlocal, independent platform that’s proud to celebrate the real heart of our town and shine a light on the people, places, and stories that make North Shields so special. Whether it’s through our printed magazine, digital content, events or social media, we want to connect the community and share what’s happening on our doorstep and beyond.
Our Mission
Our mission is to amplify lived experience, support local businesses and creatives, and position North Shields as a place of culture, pride and possibility — led by the people who live here.
Delivery & Partnerships
Alongside our editorial work, I Love North Shields acts as a delivery partner for community-led cultural projects, providing:
- Trusted local engagement and outreach
- Creative storytelling and documentation
- Inclusive participation and co-creation
- Clear routes to reach audiences often missed by traditional consultation
We work at grassroots level while delivering to professional standards — bridging the gap between communities, funders and institutions.
ILNS has collaborated with initiatives including North Shields 800, Project Nile Street, Elevation Wall Mural Project and Live Well With Cancer Community Hub, contributing creative delivery and storytelling that results in strong engagement, visibility and inclusion.
