There’s a new arrival on Saville Street in North Shields, with independent art gallery Circus Dog Art opening its doors in the town centre.

The new gallery can be found at 39 Saville Street West, North Shields, NE29 6QR, adding another independent creative business to this part of the town centre.

For us at I Love North Shields, it’s always good to see something new appearing behind a shopfront — particularly something that brings art and creativity into the heart of the town.

A New Art Gallery for North Shields

Circus Dog Art is an independent gallery and creative space, giving people another reason to explore Saville Street and discover something they might not have expected to find in North Shields town centre.

Its arrival comes at an interesting time for the town, with independent businesses, artists and creative organisations increasingly becoming part of the changing face of North Shields.

And sometimes the best way to discover these places is simply to walk through the door.

We’ll be popping into Circus Dog Art ourselves to meet the people behind the gallery, find out more about their story and discover what they have planned for the space.
