Christmas is coming to the Fish Quay, and it looks like Santa might be behaving rather badly this year!
We’re delighted to welcome Harriott & Solomon to our next Vintage Market at Salt Market Social on Sunday 29 November, where they’ll be setting up their brand-new Good Tidings Bad Santa Christmas Portrait Parlour.
And judging by the name, we’re expecting plenty of festive mischief!

Described as an immersive Christmas portrait experience, Good Tidings Bad Santa invites visitors to step into a festive world where they’ll be styled and photographed in a specially created Christmas setting.
The duo promise an experience that’s incredibly fun and potentially outrageous!
Whether you’re looking for an unusual Christmas portrait, a memorable experience with friends or simply fancy doing something a little different this festive season, this could be just the thing.

Behind Good Tidings Bad Santa are Mark Harriott and Emma Solomon, the creative partnership known as Harriott & Solomon.
Together, they’re bringing their imaginative approach to portrait photography to our North Shields Vintage Market.
We love welcoming independent creatives who bring something unexpected to our events. Our markets have always been about more than shopping. They’re about discovering talented people, supporting independent businesses, enjoying live music and creating experiences that bring our community together.

Can’t make it to North Shields? Harriott & Solomon will also be bringing their portrait parlour to the Cullercoats Creatives Christmas Market on Saturday 5 December, from 10:30am to 3pm at Cullercoats Crescent Club.
