Over the past year, we pulled together 13 issues of stories, photos and memories created by and for the people of North Shields, documenting everything leading up to the town’s 800th birthday.
Now we’ve created one big 800-page digital issue, full of local faces, voices, and moments that celebrate what makes North Shields special. More than 40 people helped shape these pages, from writers, designers, artists and photographers to schoolkids, small business owners, and lifelong Shields folk. It’s been a real team effort, and it’s done more than just document the town. It’s helped bring people together, build confidence, and spark new ideas.
