At the I Love North Shields Vintage Market | Handpicked. Reimagined., music will run through the day — from vinyl selections to live performance.
Behind the decks, Pete M will be setting the tone with a mix of funk, soul, disco, oddities and rarities. The kind of soundtrack that fits the space — something to browse to, chat over, and drift in and out of.
Later in the day, things shift slightly.
The Quiet Fire will take to the stage from 3pm, bringing their blend of folk, country, roots, blues and bluegrass. Acoustic at heart and story-led in spirit, their sound leans into connection — the kind of music that draws people in without trying too hard.
A mix of voices and backgrounds — a Geordie lass, a Yank, an Irishman and a southerner — coming together through music.
Local Shields lass Vanessa from the band said:
“We’re super and much looking forward to adding good vibes to the ILNS vintage flair fare.”
They’ll be joined by special guest Beverley Craggs, adding another local voice to the line-up.
