SIRA STUDIO is a video production and photography company, which relocated to the Fish Quay from Harrogate, North Yorkshire, in July 2024. Blown away by the creativity and buzz in North Shields, its husband-and-wife directors, Simon and Rachael, offered to collaborate with us in the year that North Shields celebrates its 800 year history, by making a series of short film documentaries that shine a light on some of the inspiring businesses and community projects that are here, on our doorstep.
Rachael, said, “North Shields really is a fantastic place to live and work. Everyone’s been so welcoming, the scenery is incredible, the positivity is brimming, and there is so much going on, it’s almost impossible to keep up! Working with I Love North Shields on the series of videos is a real privilege. Through Simmie and the ILNS team, we are meeting so many amazing people, and learning so much about the history, the present and the future of North Shields. We specialise in drone work and story-led videos for commercial and community organisations, so it’s really nice to be able to capture some good shots, work creatively on some cool projects, and do our bit to spread the word about them in this year of celebrations.
