I Love North Shields Launches Limited Edition Fish Quay Supper Tote and Rebranded I ♥ NS T-Shirts

Limited Edition Collaboration with Electrik Sheep and Photography by Gary Ormston

I Love North Shields has launched a new limited merchandise collection in collaboration with Newcastle-based design studio Electrik Sheep, bringing together independent publishing, regional design and North East identity in a single drop.

The release includes the Fish Quay Supper Tote Bag, designed by internationally recognised urban artists Prefab77 and Mul, and a reworked edition of the original I ♥ NS T-shirt, now available in black and white.

The collection is available now via the ILNS web shop, with T-shirts open for pre-order.

A North East design collaboration

Electrik Sheep is an award-winning, multidisciplinary design studio based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Founded in 2005, the studio is led by urban artists Prefab77 and Mul, whose collaborative practice has shaped a distinctive visual language rooted in street culture, regional identity and place-based storytelling.

Electrik Sheep Designed is the ongoing creative partnership between Prefab77 and Mul. Their work spans branding, illustration, apparel and public art, consistently reflecting the character, humour and visual strength of the North East.

For this release, Prefab77 and Mul developed the Fish Quay Supper artwork, drawing directly from North Shields’ working waterfront and evening culture. ILNS was granted permission to use the design for a strictly limited tote run.

The Fish Quay Supper Tote Bag

The Fish Quay Supper Tote references the maritime heritage of North Shields and the social life that surrounds the quay — fishing industry, independent hospitality and the everyday rhythm of a working port.

Produced as a limited edition, the tote will not be reissued once sold out.

Rebranded I ♥ NS T-Shirts

Alongside the tote, Prefab77 and Mul have reworked ILNS’s original I ♥ NS design. The updated version refines the typography, balance and layout while retaining its clear message of local pride.

The T-shirt is now available in black and white.
