Around 70 people joined I Love North Shields for the second community photowalk on 18 October 2025 — exploring the mural trail, supporting local venues, and celebrating creativity. A second pop-up gallery is now in the works.

Local artist Conrad Milne has unveiled a breathtaking new artwork, North Shields 800 Years in the Making, at Three Tanners Bank. Featuring collaborations with poet Dean Jolly, photographer Hazel Plater and author David Scholey, the piece captures 800 years of Shields’ history in layered digital art.
