Love North Shields has welcomed a new addition to its growing team, with North East-based social media creator Lucy Delaney joining the platform.
Lucy, who is based in North Tyneside, brings a strong focus on heritage, music and storytelling, creating content that highlights both well-known landmarks and lesser-seen parts of the local area.
Her work centres on documenting place and experience in a way that feels accessible and engaging, with a particular interest in the stories behind locations and everyday life.
Speaking about her work, Lucy said:
“I’m constantly inspired by the area’s history, coastline and culture and I love showcasing both its well-known landmarks and its hidden gems through my content.”
As part of her role with I Love North Shields, Lucy will support the platform’s digital output, with a focus on short-form video and TikTok content, helping to reach new audiences and further share stories from across the town and surrounding areas.
She will also be attending local events, capturing content in real time, including the upcoming I Love North Shields Vintage Market at Salt Market Social later this month.
The addition of Lucy reflects I Love North Shields’ continued growth as a community-led platform, expanding its creative team while maintaining its focus on documenting everyday culture and connecting people across the area.
